Founding of Forest River
First, let’s look at how Forest River began. Founded by Peter Liegl in 1996, Forest River is an RV manufacturer that truly helps people experience the joy of the outdoors. Liegl dedicated himself to build a better RV. He wanted to create a more reliable and more comfortable camper. He accomplished his goal, and today Forest River is one of the biggest RV manufacturers in North America.
Consequently, Forest River produces class A and C motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, camping trailers and destination trailers. They make an RV for everyone – the family getting started in the world of RVing to the experienced full-timer. To their core, Forest River believes that everyone should be able to experience the vast beauty of Mother Nature.

Forest River Manufacturing
Altogether, Forest River follows their mission by ensuring that they build quality, dependable recreational vehicles. They accomplish this through their manufacturing facilities, which are committed to quality control. Located throughout the Midwest and West Coast, they follow production procedures without cutting corners or rushing through the process. They ensure that each Forest River product is carefully constructed and undergoes a complete inspection after the production process.
In addition to their production tests, Forest River selects random units from each of their brands to test. These units are subjected to rigorous testing postproduction at their 20,000 square foot pre-delivery inspection (PDI) building. Technicians check for issues in electrical, plumbing, LP system, function, cosmetics, codes and standards, rain bay, and other miscellaneous tests. This process further ensures every unit built meets the high-quality standards that Forest River promises.

First, let’s start with one of our new luxury fifth wheels! And when we say luxury, we mean it! It is most definitely luxurious! We LOVE this new floorplan; it is beautiful and functional. The rear kitchen offers plenty of countertop space and has a 24″ gas range and a 20 cu. ft. stainless steel refrigerator. The living area has a hide-a-bed sofa, an entertainment center with a fireplace and a 50″ flat screen TV to watch your favorite movies.
In addition, there is a workspace with a desk, making this perfect for those who need to get some work done while camping. Once you’re work is done, you can relax inside the master suite with its king bed, walk-in closet (with a bench), large shower (with a seat), and a dual sink vanity…did we say this was luxurious? We cannot reiterate how excited we are for this new fifth wheel!

Next, this travel trailer is all about efficiency, it can sleep 10 and still has space to move around! Our favorite features of this unit are the sleeping spaces and the kitchen. With two separated sleeping spaces a rear private bunkhouse and a front private bedroom, you maximize sleeping capacity and still get privacy. The kitchen gives you the well-designed, convenient workspace you need to prepare any favorite recipe or family meal. With an 11 cu. ft. frost-free refrigerator, a three burner cooktop, a double sink, and abundant cabinet storage, the kitchen might be our favorite feature. Plus, you can also prepare your meals outside in the outdoor kitchen! This trailer even has a roof that is fully walkable.
