The Altitude 228 makes the most of its compact space. You can carry off-road vehicles to your destination in covered safety in the toy hauler’s rear garage. The garage space is open to the living area, creating a flexible and functional family space once the toys are out and ready to roll. The easy-to-maintain, durable wood grain linoleum throughout the unit make the transition from garage to dining room or bedroom a snap.
Enter through the 30-inch main door into the open area of the unit. To the left, in the multi-functional garage area is a wood grain entertainment center – with an included stereo system – ready to hold a 30-inch LED TV. There’s also a spacious cabinet overhead.
Across the unit is a sofa that folds up while off-road vehicles are sharing the space. When it’s time for dinner the sofa folds down to create ample seating for a sturdy fold-down indoor-outdoor table. At bedtime, clear out the table and fold down the sofa to create double bed sleeping for the kids or guests. Stow beach towels, pillows and bedding securely in the overhead cargo loft above the sofa.

The side hallway full-featured bathroom includes a large parchment lavatory bowl set in a wood grain cabinet. The spacious shower/tub combo has an easy-to-clean one-piece surround and a curved track shower curtain. A mirrored, wood-framed medicine cabinet provides even more storage. A matching bisque porcelain foot flush toilet completes the bathroom.
Continue down the hallway to a front bedroom private retreat. A 60-inch by 74-inch mattress is the centerpiece – with a popular upgrade to a Denver Supreme Mattress available. The bed is flanked by two convenient wardrobes and side tables. The front room retreat is wired for a cable TV hook up.
