Daytona Beach, Florida 

Known for some of the best NASCAR races of the season, Daytona has plenty more to offer than cars driving around the track at speeds well over 100mph. Because Daytona is known for being a family destination, kids reign supreme with all of the fun activities to take part in. Some of the most popular kid-friendly destinations in Daytona include Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, Daytona Aquarium and Marine Science Center. Keep your kids entertained and take in all that Daytona Beach has to offer! 

Ocean City, New Jersey 

If you are looking for a quick and easy vacation just about an hour away from Crossroads Trailers, then Ocean City, New Jersey, might be the perfect last-minute destination for RV beach camping. Known as the filming location for MTV’s 00’s hit show, the Jersey Shore is full of sunny days at the beach and nights on the boardwalk. With family fun activities for all ages, Ocean City is certainly worth the visit before summer ends. 

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 

Grab your golf clubs and get ready to hit a round of 18 at Myrtle Beach. After your day on the links, throw on a bathing suit and head over to the seashore. There is typically a much younger crowd here during spring break season, but the rest of the year is more family-friendly. 

Fort Lauderdale & Miami Beach, Florida

Keep in mind that Miami Beach is a nonstop party throughout the year, which means younger kids may prefer the slower pace of Fort Lauderdale. Virginia Beach, Virginia  

Closer to home here in Jersey, Virginia Beach is a fantastic destination for RV beach camping, offering a blend of vibrant beach life and family-friendly activities. With a three-mile-long boardwalk, amusement parks and plenty of shops and restaurants, there is no shortage of things to do. The calm waters and wide sandy shores make it ideal for swimming, sunbathing and building sandcastles. RV campers can find numerous beachfront campgrounds nearby, making it easy to enjoy the beach by day and the comfort of your RV by night. Virginia Beach is perfect for those looking to mix relaxation with adventure as they say goodbye to summer. 

Cannon Beach, Oregon 

Located on the stunning Oregon coast, Cannon Beach is famous for its iconic Haystack Rock and beautifully unique coastal scenery. The charming town offers art galleries, boutique shops and fine dining, making it a perfect destination for a relaxing beach getaway. Enjoy exploring life in the tide pools, hiking in Ecola State Park, or just lounging on the wide sandy beach. The cooler Pacific Northwest climate is a refreshing change from the hot summer days, providing a perfect escape to nature. 

Holden Beach, North Carolina 

Back over on our coast, Holden Beach is one of North Carolina’s best-kept secrets. With its serene environment and less crowded beaches, it’s ideal for a peaceful family vacation.
