These are some of the most highly-rated and well-loved seasonal RV campgrounds for New Jersey and New York residents to shelter in when the snow comes.

Cloudland Canyon State Park

Rising Fawn, Georgia

Discover the beauty of northern Georgia in both bold fall colors and white winter snow. While snow is likely to fall in this part of Georgia, just south of Chattanooga, Tennessee, it’s a light coating compared to what’s found up north. Cloudland Canyon State Park is located on the edge of Lookout Mountain and includes seasonal caving opportunities, as well as biking, fishing, geocaching, hiking and horseback riding. You can rent RV sites or cabins year-round and enjoy beautiful views of the Appalachians all winter, which puts it on our list of seasonal RV campgrounds.

Though summer is the busiest time of year, you can reserve long-term stays for discounted rates between October and February. The park has watersports and a marina, so fishing is always an option. Additionally, there are two swimming pools, a hot tub, a playground, tennis courts and two camp stores with all the RV and boating supplies you’ll need.
